Hyper sweating

What is hyper sweating?

Hyper-sweating is excess sweating that mainly affects the hands, armpits and face and the most effective and simplest procedure to combat it is treatment with botulinum toxin.

The use of Botox (botulinum toxin type A) causes the selective and temporary reduction of sweating in the armpits, palms of the hands and soles of the feet, through selective action on peripheral cholinergic nerve endings.

It may be necessary to carry out several serial treatments over time to obtain the desired functional result. In addition, it may require the use of moisturizing creams or lotions, after treatment, in order to hydrate and compensate for the temporary hypo-functionality of the skin appendages and sweat glands.
